Get up and out on the slopes quickly by picking up your equipment the evening prior to
the actual day of rental use.

Tips to get you through the rental shop
and out on the slopes :
Time Management is Key:
The busiest times at the Rental Shop are between 9:30 AM and 11 AM and then again
between 4:30 PM and 6 PM. The best time to arrive is when we first open. This will help you avoid delays and get you out on the slopes for a
full day of skiing.
If you can't make it when we open, plan for time to be properly fitted and
receive all your gear. It may take up to 45 minutes midweek and up to 90
minutes weekends and holidays for first time skiers/boarders. If you are
taking a lesson, please make sure you allot enough time to make it through the
Rental Shop before your lesson starts.
Families should allow even more time due to the number of people and diverse
ages. Children tend to take longer than adults to be fitted properly with
their gear.
What To Wear for Properly Fitting Gear:
Wear only one pair of (thin) socks. Multiple layers of socks can cause
blisters due to friction and thick heavy socks may be too warm and cause sweating that can
result in irritations.
Make sure you wear waterproof pants that are wide enough at the bottom to fit
over your ski or snowboard boots, helping to keep snow from getting into your
boot.
Underage/Minors:
A parent or guardian's signature is required for anyone under the age of 18. This
policy is strictly enforced.
If a parent/guardian will not be with you at the time of rental,
please present to rental shop personnel a signed statement agreeing with rental
terms & conditions from parent/guardian. Also on the statement:
Printed parent's name, driver's license # and state of parent, as well as printed name
of minor renter.
Security Deposit:
A valid driver's license or credit card is necessary to rent equipment. We
will electronically scan the license or card to secure the rental. Scanner
is independent from on-line systems, maximizing security.

one of the newest rental fleets in the Mid-Atlantic, which provides the customer
with the latest technology to ensure a quality experience. Have you ever
wondered why some skis don’t seem to slide across the snow as well as others? We
wax our skis and snowboards after each use to help ensure the best performance
for each of our rental customers. If they don’t perform well, we will re-wax or
adjust them as needed.
3. With our new advanced rental reservation system, you can make a quick pick up and be on the
mountain in no time!
If you use our new advance rental option, our knowledgeable
staff will select the best equipment available from our inventory, tune and wax
your skis or snowboard specifically for the weather and snow conditions, and
have it waiting for you to pick up in our Service Shop.
2. If your rental equipment needs serviced or exchanged, there’s no need to
leave the resort!
If you need your rental skis or snowboard serviced or exchanged, you can do
so right in the Rental Shop!
Hidden Valley also offers the option to exchange
your rented skis for a snowboard and vice versa. This is ideal for individuals
who already have experience on the mountain in one sport and want to try out the
other. For only a small charge, you can simply return to the Rental Shop,
exchange your equipment and be on your way.

located at the Ski Lodge! You can purchase your ski/board ticket at one of
our ticket windows, pick up your rental, visit the Sports Shop and grab a bite
to eat or something to drink all in one place which is just steps from the
slopes!
