As the outbreak of COVID-19 in the United States develops, we have continued to closely monitor the situation in regard to our mountains. We will continue to closely evaluate the situation week-by-week. We also are working on a few other initiatives and wanted to share the following information with you:

As safety and well-being for our employees and guests is always paramount here, we continue to monitor the situation and work with our health care partners to ensure that we are up to date on any developments and are actively reviewing the appropriate precautions. We encourage all to listen and adhere to the guidance of the public health experts and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

We have implemented a messaging system to educate, prevent and stop the spread of COVID-19. The measures include internal Seven Springs, Hidden Valley and Laurel Mountain procedures to protect our employees as well as messaging to our groups on efforts to prevent spreading the disease.

Seven Springs & Hidden Valley have enacted the following:

  • – Creation of COVID-19 Management Group to guide organization through event.
  • – A ban on all air travel by employees for Resort Business unless it is approved by the CEO.
  • – A ban on all Resort affiliated meetings of more than 50 people.
  • – Housekeeping Team Members will continue to clean using high-grade disinfectants and disposable hand wipes.
  • – Creation of The Clean Team to disinfect all common areas

Seven Springs & Hidden Valley have:

  • – Started regular meetings in early March to discuss COVID-19 preparations.
  • – Distributed Personal Protection Equipment packages – which include gloves, eyewear and sanitizer to First Responders.
  • – Continually used internal communications to promote health guidelines from County, State and National Healthcare Officials.
  • – Added dedicated staff to disinfect all public areas throughout each day.
  • – Added hand sanitizers in public areas for convenience throughout the resort.
  • – Analyzing our upcoming events to determine to keep or cancel based on CDC.
  • – Developed Standard Operating Procedure for employees with COVID-19 symptoms or exposure.
  • – Added hospital grade sanitizing wipes on all housekeeping carts.
  • – Made Pop up wipes available throughout the public areas.

We encourage you to follow announcements and advisories on the coronavirus by the Pennsylvania Health Department and the Centers for Disease Control.

The health and safety of our employees, our community and our guests is of the utmost importance to us. We will continue to monitor the situation and of course, are hopeful that this shall pass soon.
