Snowmaking fired up last night and will continue for as long as conditions permit! With about an inch of natural snow on the ground, Hidden Valley is looking beautiful this morning. Don’t forget to do those snow dances!
Great news for this winter and many to come! We have completely overhauled our snowmaking pumphouse this year. This major project will allow us to increase water pressure and capacity, which means more and better snow on the slopes!
We have added Variable Frequency Drives that will improve our efficiency and let our team adapt the system to various weather conditions. The maximum output has been increased from 3,700 GPM to 4,700 GPM, allowing us to run up to 12 more snowguns at a time.
We have also added three new TechnoAlpin fan guns to our fleet this year!
Are you ready for a whole winter of fun on the slopes? THINK SNOW and stay tuned for updates!
