Snow & Weather Report

Update: Sunday, March 1, 2026, 6:08 a.m.

Good morning from the Valley! Sundays are for cruising and today will be a good one with a cool start that eases into a mild afternoon with a touch of spring energy in the air. The slopes are open from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Fresh grooming overnight has left most open trails with smooth, crisp corduroy over a frozen granular base. Conditions will ride firm this morning with a supportive and edgeable feel. As the day warms and the sun works in, surfaces will soften up slightly, but we’re not expecting the soft, slushy conditions we saw yesterday. Stingray and all glade areas are now closed. As always, remember to be mindful of changing conditions through the day.

It’s currently 30° on the mountain with cloudy skies and calm northwest winds. A round of early flurries and mixed precip move through around daybreak before tapering off mid-morning. Temps will hover in the mid-30s with peeks of sunshine this afternoon before briefly slipping into the 20s and teens overnight.

Monday follows with a quiet, chilly day and occasional sun as the next system passes south of the region. After that the pattern becomes active again, with a mild and active setup returning Tuesday and periodic showers lingering through much of the week and into the weekend.

Have a great day in the snow!
