Snow & Weather Report
Update: Friday, December 19, 2025, 6:54 a.m.
Good morning from the Valley! We’re thrilled to welcome everyone back as we reopen for daily operations today. It’s time to get back to carving turns and settling into a winter of fun. The slopes are open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today.
Avalanche chairlift is online today with Upper and Lower Comet added to our trail mix! Mountain operations teams have been hard at work preparing the slopes with fresh grooming across open terrain overnight. We'll have a smooth sliding start to the day with soft granular conditions early, before snow surfaces begin to firm up and transition to hardpack as colder air and strong winds arrive later on.Â
It’s currently mild and breezy this morning, but a strong cold front will move through as the day goes on. Expect temperatures to fall quickly, with increasing winds and much colder conditions developing by this afternoon and evening. Snow showers are expected today with 1 to 3 inches possible, along with areas of blowing snow.
Snowmaking operations are paused during the warm start, but our team is closely monitoring conditions and they're ready to fire back up as soon as temps allow. Please remember that visibility and surface conditions may change quickly near snowmaking equipment. Always ski and ride with care around active snowmaking operations.
As temps fall later today, it's important to dress for the conditions, especially for our younger skiers and riders. Layer up, cover exposed skin, stay hydrated and take warm-up breaks frequently.
Have a great day in the snow!
